CITYSERVICEVALCON LLC Propane Driver / Service Tech in KALISPELL, Montana

Responsible for propane delivery, occasional installation and maintenance of new and existing LP systems, and systems sales, as part of the company team.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOperate bobtails for delivery of fuel as well as various types of service trucks and booms.Perform installations and service work in an efficient, safe manner, and in accordance with all state and federal rules and regulationsSatisfy customer as number one goal. Be alert to customer needs and problems and try to resolve them or direct them to someone who can.Strive to build a professional and working relationship with fellow employees and customers.Maintain high company image standards for self and vehicle. Personal appearance must be neat and well groomed. Uniforms must be clean. Trucks must be kept clean and neat both inside and outside.Comply with all company policies regarding work related incidents.Prepare customer invoices, installation records, and other paperwork completely, accurately, and legibly.Have a full understanding of propane service work; installation records, leak testing, pressure checks, etc.Perform housekeeping, freight receiving, warehouse stocking, and other functions as required in support of all company departments. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREDHigh school diploma or equivalent.Current CDL, Class B or higher, with hazardous material, tanker and airbrakes endorsementsMust pass MVR check.Must pass criminal background check.Must pass drug test before driving company vehicles.Must comply with all D.O.T., industry, and company safety regulations.Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as technical procedures, government regulations, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Must have ability to apply common sense and understanding and solve practical problems in which a variety of concrete variables and situations where only limited standardization exists.Some computer experience/knowledge.Must have the ability to complete ?on-the-job? training provided by CityServiceValcon.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCustomer service experience.Bobtail driving experience.Working computer knowledge or experience.Installation record training, CETP School or equivalent.Experience in the propane industry, example: school or field training.PHYSICAL DEMANDSWork in confined spaces.Work in adverse conditions and uneven ground.Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.REGULAR WORK SCHEDULENormal business hours Monday through Friday - 8 - 5Ability to be on call evenings and weekends on a rotating schedule.Additional hours as required to meet customer needs
