Kalispell Regional Healthcare RN Clinical and Staffing Coordinator - Hospice in Kalispell, Montana
This position assumes a visible role and coordinates patient care and administrative activities for respective patient groups and care delivery. Participates in the delivery of quality and safe effective patient care, clinical judgment, productivity, staffing, and education.
*Assumes a visible coordinator role and is responsible for overseeing and/or providing patient care, administrative activities and regulatory compliance for department.
*Assesses quality and effectiveness of patient care, clinical judgment, interpersonal, and communication skills of field clinicians.
*Promotes staffing compliance and ensures safe staffing assignments. Monitors staffing to achieve productivity and department budget standards.
*Performs patient evaluations, consults, visits and/or admissions.
*Coordinates and/or provides delivery of patient care in a professional manner in compliance with organization and department policies and procedures and external regulatory agencies.
*Determines patient assignments and delegates’ duties according to appropriate patient acuity and skill mix of staff.
*Coordinates staffing based on patient acuity, productivity and policy guidelines.
*Performs patient visits to assure Aide’s plan of care meets patient’s needs.
*Exhibits knowledge and understanding of the Certification and Montana State (CMS) licensure rules.
*Communicates with assigned leadership and documents any positive and/or negative events that occur during shift.

Current Montana RN license or a multi state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana;
Minimum of one (1) year hospice experience required. Minimum of one (1) year leadership experience preferred.
Current Healthcare Provider CPR.
Must be 21 years old, have a good driving record clear of moving violations in the past five (5) years and no major driving offenses (DUI, etc.) and valid vehicle liability insurance. Current Montana Driver’s License required.
National Certification in Home Health or Hospice preferred.
Possess medical/clinical knowledge and technical skills for respective department.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential components of this position.
