SAVES INC Executive Director (Non-Profit) in LEWISTOWN, Montana

Full time positionLOCATION: Lewistown, MTHOURS: 40 hours/week, generally Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm; however, must be available nights, weekends and holidays to respond to emergency situations. Hours may be flexed to accommodate this.WAGE: DOESAVES INC. is a non-profit agency whose mission is to reduce domestic violence and sexual assault incidents and empower survivors to make positive changes in their lives.DUTIES:- Works closely with Adult Protective Services, Child Protective Services, Juvenile Probation, Probation and Parole, law enforcement agencies, and the courts in the seven-county service area. Also works with local agencies including medical services, counselors, schools, Office of Public Assistance, HRDC, and local attorneys.- Supervises the Crisis Line Advocate, the Musselshell County-based Advocate and the Lewistown-based Advocate, as well as the U-SAVES Thrift Store employees and volunteers.- Budget preparation and oversight; record keeping.- Direct client advocacy.- Grant writing; monthly, quarterly and annual grant reporting.- Position is based in Lewistown but involves travel to each of the seven area counties at least once per month.QUALIFICATIONS:- Most important key to success is a positive attitude toward the organization and its mission, including a belief in the shared humanity of all people, the willingness to go the extra mile for someone in need and to give clients the benefit of the doubt, to treat each person as an individual and foster a client's return to independence rather than increasing their dependence.- Bachelor's degree in social work, human services or a related field.- Experience in social work with knowledge of case management techniques.- Understanding of trauma and how it presents in choices and interactions; ability to intervene and respond quickly in crisis situations.- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.- Must be insurable and have own reliable vehicle for work-related travel.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grant-writing and business communications; ability to speak effectively before individuals, public groups and employees.
