NEXUS TREATMENT FACILITY Food Service Coordinator in LEWISTOWN, Montana
Full time position
HOURS: The position is scheduled to work five (5), eight (8) hour shifts with Saturday and Sunday off. The work schedule is: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.p> WAGE: DOE
DUTIES:
The Food Service Coordinator shall prepare special luncheons for visiting dignitaries, special guests, and screening committee lunches.
The Food Service Coordinator is responsible for the ordering of, participation in, and satisfactory completion of all health and safety inspections associated with food services.
The Food Service Coordinator shall assess the equipment needs related to food service, direct these needs to his/her supervisor?s attention in writing and when requested to do so, to apprise, select, and purchase this equipment.
The Food Service Coordinator shall be responsible for the ordering, purchase, and storage of household supplies, including laundry supplies, cleaning supplies, light bulbs and small appliances related to food service or maintenance.
The Food Service Coordinator is responsible to master the knowledge necessary for understanding the treatment program and the functions of co-workers. Furthermore, the Food Service Coordinator shall attend weekly staffing treatment meetings and shall report all suspected rule violations on the part of residents via the Incident Report format.
The Food Service Coordinator shall participate in training sufficient to meet agency requirements.
The Food Service Coordinator supervises, evaluates and monitors the work of the Food Service Worker.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The position requires a minimum of two (2) years experience in food service including responsibility for menu planning and cost control, purchasing and food prep for large groups.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required and correctional food service experience is preferred.
