CHARLES MOORE INC Ag Equipment Operator in MILES CITY, Montana

Temporary full-time position from 4/27/2024 to 11/30/2024. Agricultural employee is required to work with many different types of farm machinery for soil preparation, crop planting and harvesting. Worker will be required to drive and control farm equipment to transport grain and other crops. Employee is required to maintain and make minor repairs of the equipment they operate. Mechanical skills and experience are required to use equipment necessary to perform the tasks above. Worker will be required to perform routine mechanical repairs and maintenance on farm equipment; welding experience is preferred. The worker is also required to load and unload grain truck manually or using hand truck, loader, or transfer auger; weigh grain filled containers and record weights; and clean out grain bins. The job entails working outdoors in all types of weather (extreme heat, cold, wind dust, rain and snow). Worker must crouch, bend, lift and carry items weighing up to 100 pounds. Worker is required to have a current driver?s license. Employer provided items (at no cost to the worker): All tools and equipment necessary to perform the duties assigned as well as transportation between worker(s) on-site housing and the work site. A cell phone or two way radio will be provided for emergency and ranch communications at no cost to the worker (excluding long distance charges).Repetitive duties to be completed on a regular/daily basis. Additional hours may be required depending on the time of year and duties involved. Drivers license required, 3 months experience is required. Increased hourly wage and bonus may be offered depending on experience.
