Miles City, Montana law firm is seeking full-time Associate Attorney. Our law firm focus is real estate and business transactions, business formations, estate planning, and probate. We are interested in practice area expansion dependant on candidate interest and experience. An ideal candidate has 2+ years work experience and has a desire to practice in a small community. We have great clientele, a newly remodeled professional office setting and an exciting opportunity for financial success. Job Duties include: - Represent and advise clients in business transactions, new business formations. - Prepare contracts, leases, easements, transactional documents. - Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, estate and transition planning documents. - Represent personal representatives and families in probate proceedings and estate administration and distribution. Requirements: - Licensed to practice law in Montana or willingness to sit for the Montana Bar exam. - Legal experience preferred, but not required. - Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to analyze, interpret and write agreements and legal documents. - Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. - Proficient at the use of technology, including, word processing, spreadsheets, and practice management programs. - High level of professional, interpersonal and social skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. - Efficient time management skills. Position available immediately.
