As a Missoula County employee, you will be part of a team that is committed to positively impacting the community. The pay range for this position is $19.58 - $21.51 per hour, DOE.The Office of Emergency Management is seeking a 9-1-1 ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK to join their team. This position works at the direction of the 9-1-1 Center Manager or Assistant Center Manager to respond to requests from the City of Missoula Attorney’s Office and/or the Missoula County Attorney’s Office to create an audio recording of all recorded 9-1-1 call traffic related to each request. Requests from the City of Missoula or Missoula County are expected to be fulfilled within 2-3 business days; compiled audio recordings are submitted back to the requesting entity using established electronic file sharing methods for this purpose. The Requesting Agency is responsible to identify the priority order of each request when submitting multiple tape requests. Responds to inquiries and provides information to requesting agencies. Maintains an electronic call log recording pertinent information according to established methods and procedures. May make copies of documents or perform other clerical tasks as required or directed. May assist with basic computer data entry or computer-related tasks.Minimum Qualifications•High school graduation or GED required. •Requires six months of clerical work experience.•SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must pass a criminal history check.Physical/Environmental DemandsThe work requires little physical activity and can be accomplished in a typical office setting.
