First Step is a clinic providing medical and forensic care for Patients who have experienced Sexual violence, Intimate partner violence, or Child abuse.
All RNs in this position will need SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) training. If they don't have this upon hire, SANE training will be offered to new staff.
The primary responsibilities of the examiner include conducting all aspects of medical/forensic assessments for those reporting abuse or assault with primary focus on sexual abuse and sexual assault. Examiner will share call responsibilities with the other examiners to provide coverage for the provision of primarily adolescent and adult examinations - and eventually child examinations. Examiner will be responsible to report to First Step Resource Center when notified to see a patient having been recently assaulted or abused.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Montana Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year - Nursing experience.
