This opportunity is accountable for contributing to the financial
success of the company by assisting with underwriting crop insurance, to
assure compliance with rules and regulations of the Federal Crop
Insurance Program and company policies regarding crop hail and named
peril policies.

Primary responsibilities

\* Ensure complete and accurate policy processing activities by
reviewing and/or data entry of applications, policy changes, actual
production history (APH) and acreage report (AR) written agreements, and
gathering missing information
\* Maintain records relative to policy information, production data,
acreage reports and other documents. Ensure all information is complete
and accurate. Provide printing and mailing of documents as needed.
\*Correct errors associated with the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation
(FCIC) Error report as directed
\* Audit insured and agent submitted paperwork for completeness
\* Effectively provide agent support through business correspondence to
resolve day-to-day administrative and operational duties
\*Prepare reports for team members, agents and field personnel
\*Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural

continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun
\* Support QBE values in personal work behaviors, decision-making,

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED

1 year relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work

Experience with data entry, crop insurance, insurance coursework

\* Proficient with On Base and work flow
\*Basic knowledge of crop insurance industry and underwriting
\*Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
\*Terminology, function and fundamental capabilities of common computer,
software, information and communication technology devices, components
and concepts

\*Quickly and accurately perform data entry
\* Clearly and confidently convey information to a wide audience
\*Complete tasks by taking decisive or quick action
\* Utilize established procedures to guide decision-making
\*Communicate information in a clear, well-organized, and professional
\*Follow established guidelines to focus on details and complete tasks
attentively and thoroughly
\* Escalate issues when necessary
\* Demonstrated multitasking while maintain accuracy skill
\*Maintain highest confidentiality

Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is
not substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions. Must have
the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of
time. Must be able to operate basic office equipment including
telephone, headset and computer. Incumbent must be able to lift basic
office equipment up to 20 pounds.

\* Field agents: Work is generally performed in both an office
environment and remote external environments that may present exposure
to adverse environmental conditions dependent on customer location. Must
have the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
of time. Must be able to operate basic office equipment including
telephone, headset and computer. Must be able to walk on uneven ground,
climb, bend, stoop, use a step, crawl and/or kneel. Incumbent may be
exposed to environments that present hazardous weather, chemicals and/or
animals. Incumbent must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
