Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) is seeking an experienced, engaging, and innovative individual to fill our Business Analyst (BA) position in Missoula, MT. The Business Analyst will bridge the gap between our developers and the business side of CDCN with incredible communication skills and analytical thinking for our new HRIS and payroll systems on multiple and complex levels. The BA will also focus on evaluating and identifying unique business process needs to develop the best approach to software design. Our successful Business Analyst will be an expert in maintaining, improving, and integrating the company’s systems.

  • Evaluate and identify business process needs to develop the best software design for our teams

  • Develop a vision of the business for the developers and reflect the vision through documentation of user stories

  • Design system integrations to and from our Workday platform and Azure/cloud based systems

  • Problem solve and create new solutions to CDCN’s systems

  • Integrate Payroll and HRIS systems

  • Navigate the business and understand the different complex multi-state business models that are unique to each state

  • Monitor processes and software to assure efficient delivery of services

  • Support calls from both internal and external customers

  • Troubleshoot issues with systems to improve the business process

  • Coordinate with business users and the development team to determine optimal solutions for new and existing systems

  • Accomplish tasks effectively with information systems and the organization mission in mind

  • Provide excellent customer service

  • All other duties as assigned


  • Experience with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) and Azure/cloud based systems required

  • A minimum of two years Business Analyst experience required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business related field required

  • Must have system integration experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills is necessary

  • Experience working with Microsoft platform and Microsoft related development products required

  • Experience with payroll systems is preferred

  • Experience with medical records or HIPAA requirements preferred

  • Strong navigation skills with technology including Microsoft Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel

  • Maintain a meticulous attention to detail

  • Must be able to successfully pass a background screening
