MDSC is seeking dedicated caregivers to join our team in supporting adults with severe developmental disabilities in our residential group homes and day services center as a Direct Support Professional. The DSP's role is to provide excellent care through positive, confident, and reassuring interactions with clients to assist them in living as independently as possible.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DSP
Compassionate, respectful, and reliable Must be at least 18 years of age or older Ability to pass background check requirements Ability to effectively communicate in English, including electronically Pre-employment drug testing Related caregiving experience (preferred)

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) Personal hygiene cares Housekeeping duties Electronic documentation Medication administration Meal preparation, cooking and feeding Participates in community outings Monitor the health and safety of clients while they sleep Assist with programs (educational, skills, crafts) De-escalate physical & mental behaviors using Mandt training Follow COVID-19 protocols SHIFT
Day shifts @ 7:00am-3:00pm Evening shifts @ 3:00-11:00pm (weekends required) Overnight-awake shifts @ 11:00pm-7:00am (weekends generally required) JOB TYPES
