Missoula City-County Health Department Isolation/High Risk Monitor - COVID Group in Missoula, Montana
The Missoula City-County Health Department is hiring for a short-term Isolation/High Risk Monitor position. This position conduct daily monitoring of clients with COVID-19 during self-isolation or self-quarantine who are at a higher risk of severe disease.
*Note: for this position we require an LPN, RN, or higher medical credential because it involves assessing patient symptoms for possible high risk of complications. Other candidates may be considered depending on experience.
Workweek: We are hiring for two shifts:
Full time 40 hours per week. Applicants must be available work two weekend shifts (Sat & Sunday) every 3 weeks. Hours 9:00a-5:00p. No half day shifts available.
Part time 24 hours per week. Saturday, Sunday, and one weekday. We can be flexible on the one weekday, but you must be available to work one weekday in addition to Saturday and Sunday. Hours 9:00a-5:00p. No half day shifts available.
Receives and completes daily assignment from Isolation/High Risk Monitoring Strike Team Leader.
Follows all agency protocols and procedures.
Interactive daily monitoring of contacts with COVID-19 during self-isolation and close contacts during self-quarantine.
Assesses changes (initiation or increase in severity) in COVID-19 signs and symptoms.
Facilitates prompt medical attention, as necessary.
Tracks when clients or contacts are eligible to discontinue self-isolation/ self-quarantine.
Coordinates with MT Group - Isolation/High Risk Monitoring Strike Team Leader to report accurate and timely data updates.
Other duties as assigned.

This position is mostly remote/work from home. But you will occasionally be asked to come into the Health Department office at 301 W. Alder, Missoula for training, to pick up equipment, meetings, etc.
