IMEG Corp. is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking Land Survey Technician in our office. As a Land Survey Technician, you will be responsible for providing surveying assistance under leadership from any Senior Survey Technician or Professional Land Surveyor and is responsible for calculations and surveying judgment that is based on prior surveying experience, documented practices, systems or examples which will be reviewed by a more Senior Surveyor or Land Surveyor.

Some key duties and responsibilities include:
Assist with field work for land surveying. Scopes of work including construction staking, boundary location, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, topographic surveys and routine survey/engineering computations for various project types.
Work closely with other Technicians, Designers, Surveyors, and Engineers on projects using AutoCAD / Civil3D software to prepare Maps, Legal Exhibits, Plats, Plans, and Drawings.
Gain familiarity with AutoCAD standards and symbols to maintain uniformity for the company.
Ensures that drawings produced are of quality acceptable to the company.
Perform drawing maintenance and run prints as needed.
Maintain professional and productive working relationships with all clients and coworkers.
Operate a company vehicle.
Observe safety and security procedures.
Perform general office work, field work, and other duties as assigned by employer.

Key skills and abilities needed for the position are:
Basic knowledge of survey principles and survey computations covering both plane and spherical geometry.
Problem solving techniques.
Possesses basic oral and written communication skills.
Ability to professionally represent IMEG.
Travel may be required.

Education and experience requirements are:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minor in Land Surveying or Associates Degree in Land Surveying preferred.
0-3 years of experience.
Valid driver's license with ability to be insured by IMEG carrier.
