LC Staffing Production Manager in Missoula, Montana
Production ManagerWell established manufacturer in Missoula is looking to add a Production Manager to their team. Production Manager directs the production leads and their employees in all areas necessary for the production and assembly of products while promoting a safe, enthusiastic and motivated work environment. Essential Functions and Duties: Conducts daily meeting with production leadership to ensure open communications are maintained and daily production goals are metCommunicate daily work plan and goals to the team and hold department accountable to reach defined goalsResponsible for hiring, overtime, performance, discipline, and discharge of all employeesDefine training needs for existing personnel and implement as neededMaintains operations within approved budgets and prepares reports as neededCoordinates production priorities with Supply Chain TeamWork on, promote process improvements, and cost reductions in collaboration with Engineering ManagerDirects and Promotes safety through leadership and direction of the Safety CommitteeUtilize and implement all “Lean Manufacturing” tools (5s, Preventive Maintenance)Conduct performance reviews annually with the assistance of plant leadershipProvide written reports as necessary on daily throughput and prepares monthly production reporting packageResolve personnel problems; implement and follow corrective action procedures when necessaryQualifications: Bachelor's degree in any discipline related to manufacturing plus 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing facilityThorough knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and some knowledge of machining practices and techniquesWhy you want this job: Starting salary of $95K to $120K DOE with a 10% bonusWork for a company that provides work life balance and ‘family first’ values Full benefits to include medical, dental, vision, and 401K Paid holidays and 80 hours of PTO year 1You get to live and work in Missoula, MT (great university, abundant outdoor activities to include fishing, hunting, miles of bike / hike trails, literally 'a river runs through it', great downtime and night life, a ski resort just a few miles out of town, several museums, and a very eclectic line up of annual events and festivities.
