First Security Bank Real Estate Closer in Missoula, Montana

About The Role Provide administrative support within assigned functional area to the Real Estate Department while assisting customers in a courteous, professional, and confidential manner. Perform other clerical duties as assigned/necessary. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Loan Closing: Ensure all appropriate documentation is obtained and filed in loan file prior to closing. Track all required information needed to complete loan files; monitor and resolve problems to ensure all documentation is received and verified prior to packaging/closing. Prepare closing documentation; gather information for closing/HUD Settlement Statement; calculate closing figures; balance closing statements; obtain Escrow Company approval, if necessary; and coordinate appointments for closing. File loan documents and loan files. Perform file maintenance to ensure quality control of documents and processes. Administrative/Clerical Support: Prepare closing documents when all conditions have been met for the loan and signed off by the underwriter/lender/processor to proceed to close. Register all loans on the system accurately and timely. Review HMDA worksheet to ensure accuracy. Document Follow-up and Funding: Maintain tracking system for all closed loan files. Review all followup documents errors and correction prior to forwarding to investors. Track outstanding reconveyances on underlying liens. Send post closing documentation to investors ahead of scheduled deadlines; communicate information regarding any anticipated delays to investors. Update recording information on the system and transfer the servicing to the investor in a timely manner. Balance and process all transactions same day as funds wired. Process general ledger tickets accurately. Send follow-up letters and other correspondence/documentation in a timely manner. Work with HMDA Coordinator to ensure files are accurate and data entered on HMDA LAR is correct & up-to-date. Ensure accurate boarding information is provided to board loan accurately. About You QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience. A high school degree or GED is required.
