Job Title: Welcome Center Staff P/T
Wage: $9-11/hr, depending on experience
Hours: Part-time, 15-25 hours, evenings and/or weekends required
Reports to: Assoc. Dir of Membership & Engagement
Probation: Subject to a 6-month introductory (probationary) period
POSITION SUMMARY: The Welcome Center Staff serves as primary point of contact for all information inquiries and maintains secure use of the facility to members and guests. Welcome Center personnel provide accurate information regarding Y membership, programs and mission, and process transactions involving program registration and membership fees. This member service position requires high energy, a positive attitude when welcoming and helping members and guests, along with effective writing and phone communication skills. Must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment with multiple activities occurring at once.

Preferred - High school diploma or equivalent, or combination of education and experience
Required - Successful experience in public relations, reception, sales or customer service. Must have open, friendly personality with strong interpersonal skills.
