SALISH KOOTENAI COLLEGE Director, Career and Technical Education in PABLO, Montana
General Summary: The Director of Career and Technical Education is responsible for administration of grants and programs that prepare students for employment or for transfer for additional education. The position provides supervision of selected career/technical education programs, working with department heads and faculty to assure student access and success and quality programs. The Director also acts as coordinator of SKC's dual enrollment program, providing opportunities for high school students to engage in dual enrollment and/or concurrent enrollment coursework. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education or a Career/Technical area such as a health field or trade. Minimum of one year experience managing grants. Computer skills including experience with Google Documents, PowerPoint, Excel, and other academic and information management operating programs. Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks while meeting project deadlines; Demonstrated ability to create partnerships, work as a team member, and independently lead projects. Demonstrated Supervisory experience. Valid Montana driver's license; some travel is required. This is a drug testing designated position.
