MONTANA FLAGSTONE Packers and Packagers in PLAINS, Montana

Temporary, full time, Seasonal: Packers and Packagers, Montana Flagstone, Office phone (208)862-3820. Job location is Perma, MT - west on Hwy 200 just past the 382 Junction MM 95 and 96 or Plains, MT 139 Blooming Hills Lane. Employee will package natural stone product by hand. Be able to lift and load materials into proper crates/pallets and mark and label for identification and prepare for shipment. Measure, weigh and count products when necessary. Keep work area clean. Repeated heavy lifting required. The employee must be physically strong and willing to work outdoors under variable weather conditions in high elevations. No experience necessary, on the job training will be provided. We will provide to workers, at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job. Housing is available for employees only at no charge. 10 Seasonal openings in Plains / Perma, MT, - anticipated to start April 1 thru Nov 05, 2021 - M-F, 8-5 - 40 hrs per week (no overtime), weather permitting. Hourly wage of $10.80 per hour. A single work week will be used to compute wages due. Employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis. Production bonuses paid on a monthly basis. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. Deductions will also be made for non work related advances such as groceries, money advanced to the employee etc. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12 week period of the total employment period. H-2B workers will be reimbursed, unless the employer has paid the fees, in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Transportation (including meals) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, at least $12.68 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.
