MISSION MOUNTAIN EMPOWERMENT Direct Support Professional $500 sign on in POLSON, Montana
Mission Mountain Empowerment (a local non-profit) is hiring for all shifts in Polson and Ronan. $500.00 bonus available for full and part time new hires who perform their duties to standard over 6 months. We will train and pay you while you learn to become a Direct Support Professional (DSP). Our training will show you how to make a difference in the lives of those we serve with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. MME staff are considered essential workers and no layoffs occurred during COVID. DSPs live alongside our individuals to participate in and assist them with: *Meal prep, serving, cleanup and other day to day household chores. *Assisting with prescribed medications. *Getting individuals out into the community by participating in social events, walks, shows, local sporting events, out of town excursions, including overnight trips and mini-vacations. *Encouraging and helping them find employment and working alongside them if necessary. *Operating company vehicles to provide transportation as needed. *Hygiene and personal shopping. MME offers competitive wages, a terrific benefit package, and $500 in sign on bonuses. Wages: On-call Substitute Staff $15.00/hr.; On-call Substitute Staff w/ Medication Certification $15.50/hr.; New Hire Full-time DSP $17.00/hr.; and Full-time DSP after probation $18.00/hr. Qualifications: * Valid Montana Driver's license preferred * High school diploma or general education degree (GED/HiSET) preferred * Pass a background check * Pass a Physical Work Screening Available shifts for day, evening, weekends and nights (graveyard) for FULL TIME, PART TIME, AND ON-CALL * Day Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm * Evening (swing) Shift: Monday to Friday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm * Weekend Shifts (high pay rates): Saturday and Sunday 12 hour shifts 9:00 am to 9:00 pm or 10:00 am to 10:00 pm * Night Shifts (graveyards) (higher pay rates): Monday-Friday 11:00 pm to 9:00 am MME is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Employer.
