S&K Electronics in Pablo is hiring full time Production Control Administrator. The basic function of the Production Control Administrator is to provide the necessary oversight, direction, organization and control to meet the company goals and production schedule. Special Conditions This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) within the definition of the S&K Electronics, Inc. Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy PPpo-140. The successful applicant, if not already employed by SKE, must pass a pre-hire drug test. Incumbents will be subject to random, post-accident and reasonable suspicion testing. Requirements A. Education Required: High School Diploma or GED Preferred: Post Secondary education in related field, AAS degree. B. Experience A minimum of three (3) years experience in electronics assembly production. Five (5) years experience and previous lead or supervisory experience is preferred. Skill, Knowledge and Abilities Ability to demonstrate effective communications and technical skills in a manufacturing environment. Must have the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Organizational skills and attention to detail are critical. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Outlook. Must have understanding of MRP systems. Physical Body Position: Standing and sitting Body Movements: Walking; carrying, use of hands, eyes, arms and voice. Must be able to left and carry parts and kit tubs for short distances (may weigh up to 50 pounds). Mental Requires good command of the English language in reading, writing, spelling and oral communications. General math skills, and the ability to problem solve. Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures. Working Condition Light manufacturing shop environment in which electrical equipment and hazardous chemicals are used that represent a minimal risk to health. Reporting Relationships A. The Production Control Administrator reports to the Manufacturing Manager. B. The Production Control Administrator supervises the Tool and Fixture Clerk. Authority The Production Control Administrator works under general supervision of the Manufacturing Manager but is expected to exercise initiative and resourcefulness in meeting the responsibilities of the position. The incumbent is encouraged to research and suggest new and innovative assembly techniques and production methods with the goal of increasing productivity and reducing production costs. Responsibilities The principal responsibilities of the Production Control Administrator consist of but are not limited to, the following: A. Maintain and provide daily status of projects in process to the Manufacturing Manager. B. Review and ensure current and complete documentation is present at each workstation or project area. C. Assist Production Coordinators to ensure all necessary updates to production routings and work instructions are completed in a timely manner. Provide support, training and expertise to Production Coordinators, Lead Worker(s) and Assemblers in their respective work areas or in other areas as directed. D. Work with other departments to ensure that associated document updates are completed. E. Be aware of build status and resolve materiel issues encountered during production cycles to insure that production stays on schedule to meet product ship dates. F. Update and maintain work order entry and tracking of material transfers in ACCESS database. G. Ensure proper and timely closure of work orders in appropriate databases. H. Review and communicate production tooling and fixturing issues to the Manufacturing Manager in a timely manner. I. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manufacturing Manager Salary: Starts at $50K annually; higher salary depends upon experience.
