Continental Resources Assistant Materials Foreman (Sidney, MT/Dickinson, ND to Tioga, ND) in Sidney, Montana

Job Summary

Expected to work Sidney, MT/Dickinson, ND to Tioga, ND with ideal candidate being housed in-between cities. Responsible for warehouse materials inventory, shipping, and receiving. Performing and reconciling periodic company owned and third-party yard inventories. Market and sell surplus, obsolete, and structural pipe and equipment. Assist in receiving equipment on locations. Oversee deliveries for special projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Tracks material movements through the warehouse and make sure all movements are documented.

  • Perform inventory of company owned yards and third-party yards.

  • Work closely with SCM, Accounting and Field Personnel to research and correct inventory discrepancies.

  • Will make independent judgement on materials decisions.

  • Maintains inventory status and of CLR owned yards and 3rd party vendor yards across ND, SD and MT.

  • Coordinates equipment/tubular transportation with operations personnel.

  • Monitors inspection of tubular goods.

  • Responsible for warehouse material repair and refurbishment. Follows up to ensure proper care and handling of equipment and tubulars.

  • Divests surplus, obsolete or structural inventory.

  • Arrange logistics for pipe and equipment orders.

  • Assist in receiving equipment on well sites.

  • Oversee equipment deliveries and inventories for special projects.

  • Assists in inventory audits, both warehouse and wellsite.

  • Monitor projects at third party facilities.

  • Travel will be required.

  • Pricing and processing material transfers.

  • Promote the utilization of surplus equipment.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrates excellent communication and ability to develop relationships with employees and other third party contractors.

  • Highly motivated and able to multi-task, plan and make decisions effectively at an advanced level.

  • Takes pride in personal appearance and the appearance of their location, equipment and vehicles.

  • Demonstrates excellent conflict management skills.

  • Willingness to assist or ask for assistance as needed with manager and team member duties.

  • Proficient computer skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.

  • Proven team player.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Minimum of 5 years related experience.

  • An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA in supply chain management degree.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stoop, stand, walk, pull, carry, instruments, and climb stairs and ladders for extended period of time.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to work overhead for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to perform fine manipulations with hands and fingers.

  • Capable of driving distances of 150 miles or more per day during all types of weather conditions.

  • Ability to one arm carry up to 25 lbs. without assistance.

  • Regular bending, crouching, pulling, and kneeling to check equipment and gauges.

  • Must be able to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and up to 20 lbs. frequently to move or manipulate objects.

  • Ability to work significant amounts of time as required in completing job responsibilities.

  • Working environment includes exposure to extremely loud noises in field, hazardous chemicals, and hydrocarbons that may be under extreme pressure for which appropriate safety measures are required.
