NORTHERN PLAINS AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH LAB Biological Science Aid in SIDNEY, Montana
The USDA-ARS Northern Plains Agricultural Research Lab is hiring a seasonal biological Aid/Tech for Summer 2024. * At least 17 years old (18 years old preferred) * Valid driver's license * Experience working as a farm hand, operating farming equipment, or assisting with maintenance of agricultural fields AND/OR experience working in agricultural field research is preferred but not required. Assisting in the collection and processing of plant and soil samples from field or greenhouse studies focused on production of crops common to eastern Montana and western North Dakota. Maintaining field research sites by controlling weeds, mowing grass, etc. May also assist permanent personnel with calibrating and operating farming equipment or assist with analyzing plant and soil samples in a laboratory. Wage is dependent on experience
