A telephone cooperative in Sunburst is seeking a full-time (or possibly part-time for the right person) Accounting Administrative Assistant, who can perform all functions, as assigned by the CEO/CFO, in accordance with direction and established Company policies, procedures and controls, and abide by/adhere to all policies and guidelines of the Employee Handbook. This position will act as support for the Accounting Department of the Company. Duties will include assisting with payroll, materials inventory, customer and/or carrier billing, occasionally answering the telephone, assisting visitors, helping manage the daily office schedule, human resources, and other duties as assigned. Will also prepare checks, code documents and compile data for regulatory reporting. Will work as a team-player and communicate with coworkers, customers and vendors in a professional manner. This worker must be able to manage time effectively, work in a safe, effective and organized manner, think analytically, be a problem-solver, and be able to work independently as well as within a team. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions, and make decisions independently, while taking responsibility for them. Will determine priorities, work under pressure, be able to respond quickly to tight deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of Company records and business initiatives. Must also proficiently operate office equipment, such as, copy machines, fax machines, a multi-line telephone system, a personal computer, and have a strong working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office -- specifically Excel.
