Veterinary Assistant Duties: Assist veterinarian with patients (restraining, handling, etc) Perform X-rays, blood draws, place intravenous catheters, administration medications Operate diagnostic equipment Answering multi line phones with a high call volume Basic knowledge of office equipment (fax machine, printers, Microsoft office, paper shredder, etc) Handling payments electronically, cash, check Able to lift 50 lbs unassisted Stand on feet most of a shift Willing to work rotating weekends at least once monthly Benefits: Medical benefits paid at 100% by employer Monthly HSA contributions Retirement contributions Employee discount Yearly pet credit applied to account 90 day probationary period Pay DOE Would prefer someone with past or current experience but will train the right person who is a fast learner, outgoing, and organized
