Job Title: Carpenter Laborer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Laborer to perform basic layout work for new construction sites and remodels. This role involves constructing and positioning concrete forms for footings and foundations, installing and setting floor joists, framing floors, and laying down sheets of plywood to build sub-floors. The Carpenter Laborer will also build and secure exterior and interior walls, install protective sheeting around exterior walls, frame openings for windows and doors, and hang exterior and interior doors and windows.
Responsibilities
Perform basic layout work for new construction sites and remodels.
Construct and position concrete forms for footings and foundations using power and hand tools.
Assist in pouring concrete and disassemble forms once concrete is set.
Install and set floor joists, frame floors, and lay down sheets of plywood to build sub-floors.
Build exterior and interior walls, stand walls up, and brace and secure them into place.
Install protective sheeting around exterior walls to seal out weather.
Frame openings for windows and doors.
Hang exterior and interior doors and exterior windows.
Essential Skills
2 to 5 years of carpentry and residential construction experience.
Proficiency in using power and hand tools for constructing and positioning concrete forms.
Ability to perform basic layout work for construction sites and remodels.
Knowledge of installing and setting floor joists, framing floors, and laying down sheets of plywood.
Experience in building and securing exterior and interior walls.
Skilled in installing protective sheeting around exterior walls.
Ability to frame openings for windows and doors.
Experience in hanging exterior and interior doors and windows.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in general labor and construction.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toston, Montana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00
