BCB Activity Aide
The Activity Aide works under the direction of the Activity Director and Social Services Director. The Activity Aide assists the Activity Director to provide group and individual activities for the residents. Duties will involve direct resident/patient care in the form of providing activities meant to enhance the quality of life and meet the psychosocial needs of the residents/patients. Activities Aides will be asked to complete both group activities and one-to-one (1:1) visits with residents each shift according to set benchmarks. Activities Aides will also at times be asked to complete specific 1:1 interventions with residents under direction of the Social Service Director or Activity Director. Tasks will involve record keeping, attention to the environment, use of supplies and equipment, and maintenance of storage areas.The Activity Aide work schedule may include some weekends, evenings, and holidays. Activity Aides will also be asked to fill in as needed.
Minimum High School or GED
